Substitutes prendono il nome da un vecchio hit-single degli Who e sono formati da musicisti veterani della scena reggiana, spinti da una folle passione per il british sound nato a cavallo tra gli anni '60 e '70 e dalla voglia di ricreare, anche attraverso una strumentazione d'epoca, un suono irripetibile. I Substitutes sono: Giampaolo Corradini, voce e chitarra; Matteo Bonacini, chitarra e voce; Luigi Tocci, basso e voce; Paolo Ovi, batteria.
